Description
The Earlex DIY wallpaper stripper is ideal for quick and effective removal of all types of wallpaper and Artex. The 4 litre tank has a 2kw heating element that provides up to 70 minutes of steam time from one fill; perfect for all small to medium jobs. Once the heating element has boiled the water the steam passes through a cool to touch hose and comes out the steam plate. The steam plate is translucent to provide better visibility over the area being stripped. When the steam plate is held against the wall, steam penetrates the paper, which saturates the backing and partially dissolves the old wallpaper paste releasing the old paper from the wall or ceiling quickly and easily. The system uses only water so it’s both environmentally friendly and cost effective to use. The tank is easy to fill with a screw cap lid that is perfect in size for filling from the tap. The top of the unit has a handy carry handle. All Earlex wallpaper strippers have a cool to touch hose, over-pressure safety valve, anti-discharge valve and anti-implosion valve designed for your safety.
